For my Masters project I am collaborating with Graham Pullin (Ex Head of Studio at Ideo and author of Design Meets Disability). We are looking at how tones of voice can be used in conjunction with speech synthesisers in order to give users a customisable personality.
The system allows people to compose their own tones of voice and upload them to an online community where they can share and browse masses of tones.
This system will allow speech synthesiser users to craft their own voice and express themselves more freely.The conept demo video of the system will be posted here in a few weeks.
